Schema markup (JSON-LD) is the structured data that tells Google, AI assistants, and other crawlers what your content actually is. Most B2B SaaS sites ship either no schema or a single Organization schema. The five schemas every B2B site should ship are: Organization, WebSite, SoftwareApplication or Product, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList.

Organization is the foundation. Includes company name, logo, address, founders, sameAs links to LinkedIn/Crunchbase/etc. This is the entity-level signal that anchors everything else.

WebSite covers the site as a whole, with optional SearchAction for site search. SoftwareApplication or Product describes your product specifically (price, features, screenshot, video). FAQPage on relevant pages exposes questions and answers in a structure search engines and AI assistants love. BreadcrumbList helps crawlers understand site hierarchy.

Add ProfilePage for leadership pages, Article for blog posts, Event for webinars and conferences, and Review for case studies and testimonials. Validate everything with Google Rich Results Test. Check your output with Schema.org validator. Most B2B sites that implement these correctly see 10-30 percent organic traffic lifts within 6 months.
